Google Meet's free feature ends on September 30, with free calls lasting 60 minutes

Video conferencing applications are now relied on to keep in touch with loved ones who are far away, or to study online or in office meetings. That's why apps like Zoom, Google Meet, Team link have become so popular. These apps give users many services for free.

However, many people prefer Google's Meet service for data protection or simple features in these apps. Following Google's latest update, this video conferencing service will be available on desktop and mobile, from the Gmail app, without having to install the Google Meet app separately. But the news that has come out recently, some Google Meet users may be a little confused.

In fact, the popular search engine Google announced earlier this year that it would offer free unlimited video conferencing to all Google Meet users. Google made the decision after seeing the need for a video meeting in the event of a Corona epidemic. But it is expected that this free service will end this month. The free extension of Google Meet is expected to end on September 30. But there is no hope that Google will extend its term.

Google has confirmed to American news website The Verge that the company is not making any changes to the meet promo and advanced features. In other words, from the end of this month, some features of Google Meet will no longer be used. For example, once the free extension expires, the duration of each Google Meet video will be 60 minutes or one hour.

A few days ago, Google, G-Suit and G-Suit Education introduced some free features for customers. These features allow up to 250 users to participate in video calls. Not only that, it also has the facility to host live streams with more than 1 lakh people and record meetings on Google Drive. But even these free services are expected to expire on the 30th.
