Xiaomi's new budget smartphone Redmi 9i will be launched in India today, September 15. Redmi 9i will be the fourth phone in the Redmi 9 series. Earlier, Redmi 9, Redmi 9A and Redmi 9 Prime phones were launched in India. Some specifications of the Redmi 9i phone have been leaked for some time. Tipstar Ishan has also leaked the initial price of this phone. The company will launch Redmi 9i in India at 12 noon today. The launch event of this phone can be seen live on Shaomi's official YouTube channel and social media page.

A few days ago the company released a teaser from which the phone has come to know several specifications. This phone has a water drop notch display. It has already been confirmed that the Redmi 9i will be available on Flipkart and Mi.com. According to Tipstar Ishan's tweet, the price of Redmi 9i will start from Rs 8,999. If the phone is launched at this price, then the price of the phone will be higher than Redmi 9A and Redmi 9 will be cheaper than Redmi 9 Prime.

It is also learned that Redmi 9i will be launched in India with two storage variants with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage and 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The phone is expected to be available in Nature Green, Sea Blue and Midnight Black. Notably, the Redmi 9A phone is also available in these three colors in India. The company has written 'Big On watching Videos' in the teaser of the phone, which means the phone will have a big display. According to the information provided on the Pricebaba site, the Redmi 9i smartphone may have a 6.53-inch HD Plus display with a resolution of 720 × 1600 pixels. It will have Android 10 as the operating system, and will run on top of the MIUI 12 interface.
