The noise cancellation feature is being added to the Google Meet app

Due to the lockdown, we have to do almost everything online since March. From online classes for students to emergency office meetings for employees - all work has to be done through video conferencing. And because of this, the popularity of various video conferencing apps is also increasing. Google Meet is one of the most popular of these apps. Recently added background blur feature to this app. This time Google Meet is going to get another new feature. So that outside noise will no longer interrupt your emergency conference. In fact, Google is bringing new noise cancellation technology to their Meet app. This feature is available on both Android and iOS smartphones.

However, ordinary users will have to wait a while for this feature. This feature is currently available for G Suite Enterprise for Education and G Suite Enterprise users. So, if you are not a user of this type, wait a while before updating the app.
Google said that for now, this feature will only be available for G Suite Enterprise for Education and G Suite Enterprise customers. Noise cancellation technology allows users to listen to clear audio in video calls without any external noise.

How to turn on noise cancellation feature on Google Meet platform

1. Google says this feature will be off by default and will have to be turned on manually. To do this, first go to the settings menu.
2. Then go to the audio option.
3. Then turn on Noise Cancellation.

Noise cancellation will help you listen to good audio during video meetings or video calls and filter out unwanted noise from outside. This means that nothing in the meeting will distract you. Only your own words will go through Google Meet. So even if you live in an environment where there is a lot of shouting, you can still run your meetings and calls with ease. Currently most people are working from home. As a result, such problems are quite normal. As a result, this new feature will be convenient for everyone.
