Paytm is back in the Google Play Store. Paytm, a payment app with about 50 million active customers a month, was removed from the Play Store by Google this afternoon for violating the policy. But now again, this app is a competitor of Google Pay available in Google Play Store. As before, the number of downloads, reviews and ratings of the app can be seen in the Play Store.

Google removed Paytm from the Play Store for violating its
gambling policy. The allegation was that Paytm was indirectly supporting
online casinos and other unregulated gambling, which is against Google
policy. Because according to the rules of the Google Play Store, if an app
takes their users to another website where they are tempted to win real cash or
prizes by playing a paid tournament, then the app violates the Play Store
policy. Paytm did just that.
Paytm recently included Paytm First Games in their main app,
which included games like 'Fantasy Sports, Cricket, Rummy'. Which violate
Play Store policy. But now if the Paytm app is opened, it will be seen
that these games are no longer available in the original app. And that's
why the app is back in the Play Store again.
Meanwhile after the app was removed from the Play Store though Paytm assured everyone that they will be back again soon and customers ’money is safe. Please note that Paytm was available in the Apple App Store or other app stores even if it was removed from the Play Store. Even the service of the app was not disrupted. Now back in the Play Store, you can download the app from all App Store as before.
