Good news for Reliance Jio customers, you can get Hotstar subscription for Rs 222

Almost all telecom companies nowadays offer various OTT platforms with their data packs. As a result, they have been in the possession of customers for a long time. Last June, Reliance Jio launched the Disney + Hotstar VIP add-on pack worth RS 222. Which was limited to annual plan users only. However, now this add-on pack of Rs 222 can be recharged with other plans besides annual plans.

Several Jio users can now see this 222 rupees Disney + Hotstar VIP pack in MyJio app. They do not use any annual plan. Some users of the Rs 599 plan have said that this plan is available for recharge. On the other hand, Jio's annual subscribers who use the old tariff plan prior to December 2019 are also getting the benefit of this plan.

Disney + Hotstar VIP subscription is available for one year on this special tariff voucher of Rs 222 from Reliance Jio. 15 GB data is provided. But keep in mind that since it is an add-on pack, users will need to recharge any active base plan to enjoy the Disney + Hotstar VIP subscription for a full year.

Reliance Jio's regulatory filings dated September 18, 2020 show that this add-on plan has been made available in various recharge plans. Now users of Rs 2399, 2121, 1899, 999, 599, 555 and 444 recharge plans will be able to recharge this add-on plan.

Although Reliance Jio has identified the plan as a limited-time upgrade offer within the MyJio app, TRAI's regulatory filings have shown it to be a general prepaid special tariff voucher without any promotional period limit. However, the company can remove this plan at any time if it wants. So, if you want to take advantage of this plan, it is better not to be late.
